How To Style an Oversized T-shirt

I love wearing big, oversized t-shirts. They look so cool and casual, and there are so many ways to style them! This t-shirt was a find from the men's section of a vintage shop in Manchester. I always check the men's section as I really like to wear baggy clothes and you can sometimes find some really cool items. I love the tie dye print in purple and yellow. and it makes a nice change from the close fitting women's clothes I mainly own, as I am usually really girly and feminine, it's nice to break out of that sometimes. I did this blog post with GIFs which is something I always wanted to do and they look so much more interesting than flat photos.

1) Wear with fishnet tights

2) Wear over a denim short
I liked the ripped, faded style of these shorts that look that look almost vintage. Tuck in some of the t-shirt so the shorts just peek out for a cool, effortless style.

3) Throw on a denim jacket
I love to layer things over an oversized shirt, such as denim jackets and checked shirts, which is not only cute but also very appropriate for British weather!

4) Roll up the sleeves

5) Throw on over some skinny jeans

6) Accesorise with chokers and a flower crown

7) Wear a belt to tighten the waist

Hope you enjoyed this different sort of post! How would you style an oversized t-shirt?

My Favourite Fashion Instagrammers

Instagram is an amazing place to get fashion inspiration, I really like following accounts that have a certain theme as I am a very visual person. Instagrammers with pink and colourful themes inspire me the most, they are so much more visually appealing to me! I like to follow a mixture of people that are inspiring to me, such as artists, bloggers, photographers, vegan food accounts, magazines. You also get a unique look into people's lives because they post their makeup, food, places they've visited and hopefully pictures of their cat! Here are a few people I think you should follow, they have the most beautiful feeds ever!

1) Kate Hannah
Kate's feed is so artsy and fun. Flicking through her photos your sure to see all the colours of the rainbow. She is a really creative person and her posts motivate me to create things. Her pictures are just happy and brighten up my day!

2) Noodlerella

Connie Gylnn, aka noodlerella, is one of my favourite youtubers. Her pictures are so pink and pretty- I love the way she edits them! Her fashion sense is cute and suits her, and she's also not afraid to try something different now and again, taking her influences from Disney princesses and Japanese subcultures.

3) Ttigerlilly
Ttigerlilly's feed has an amazing hippie and bohohemian theme which is perfect for summer. Her style really experiments with colour, pattern and texture. Her photos from the festivals she attends contain her amazing outfits- complete with headdresses and makeup. Her feed just makes me want to play dress up!

4) Tokyo Fashion

Tokyo fashion is compiled of street style from various areas of Tokyo, Japan. They really push the boundaries of style there and it pushes me to be more experimental with my outfit choices. The styles are really varied such as Lolita, gothic, skater, Harajuku and more. It's such a fresh take on fashion.

5) Hello Kitty

Not technically fashion, but how could I forget Hello Kitty?! From cute cartoon images to teddy bears and cakes, no matter how old you are, Hello Kitty is sure to put a smile on your face.

Hope you enjoyed, who do you like following on Instagram?

University wishlist

Hi! So I am due to start university to study fashion this year and should be moving into halls in just over a month. There is a lot I will need to get so this means my favourite activity- shopping!

A backpack - this one from Miss Selfridge has plenty of space for books, pens, my makeup phone and camera. It's in a beautiful pink, purple, blue and orange iridescent material which makes it an fashion statement as well as practical!

Notebooks and planners - I am obsessed with Paperchase's stationery, I need to be restrained from buying things from there! Their new range is based around mermaid cats, I don't think anything could be more me! For my course I will need a planner so I remember my assignments, and a diary to explain my work and the process of my projects.

Outfit - I am really bad at dressing for practicality, so I think this outfit strikes a good balance. This is a really adorable kitschy t-shirt from the ragged priest, and a tartan skirt. To keep warm I would just add a pair of tights and a rain mac as it rains a lot in Preston, where I will be studying, same as Manchester so I'm pretty used to it!

Accessories and beauty products - Since it's unlikely I will have a bath in my university halls, no more bath bombs and more shower gel. Lush have so many beautiful smelling shower gels!

Are you starting to university soon? What are you planning to buy? See you soon!

Carbs and Glitter

Carbs t shirt: H&M / Sequin skirt: Topshop / Moon and stars skirt: Motel Rocks / Choker: Affleck's Palace / Flower crown: Claire's accessories

When I first saw this cute 'carbs' t-shirt, I needed it! It encapsulates my love for potatoes and pasta perfectly, , is in a cute American preppy style which brings me one step closer to my childhood dream of becoming a cheerleader. I like the way this t-shirt looks 'worn' and casual. I love the contrast of it paired with a glitzy sequin skirt.

For a chilled out summer day, the top looks great with this Motel Rocks bodycon skirt. A pair of converse or vans would perfectly. I'm just hoping for another heatwave!

My go to accessory at the moment is a this lilac cat collar. I'm currently collecting accessories from Affleck's Palace, a shop in Manchester. All the stuff there is so cute! This collar is so kawaii and makes me feel like a cute little cat!

Hope you enjoyed this post, what are your plans for the rest of summer? See you soon!
