I'm the night sky, I'm the fire in your eyes

I really like the outfit I wore today, I actually think I put it together really well and I am pleased with it. I think that the blue t-shirt and the blue flowers in the skort go together really well, it looks so pretty and colourful. I also love denim jackets at the moment and I think this one finishes off the outfit nicely. It also gives the outfit a more unique edge, as this is a very girly the jacket toughens it up. The flowers in my headband and the flowers in my skort are also coordinated, which looks great.

 Yesterday I bought this amazing patterned skort from New Look. It is one of the best purchases I have made for a while. The range of colours on it really stands out, the flower patterns are so pretty. In sunny weather it looks perfect as it looks like the blue sky and the flowers and wildlife. This is already one of my favorite items of clothing for summer, I'll definitely be wearing it a lot!

Today was my college taster day, It was really interesting and I learned a lot about the fashion course, It was so much fun and I met lots of cool people. We also had to make a dress out of paper and this is what I came up with. I think it is actually really pretty and I love the colours on it; yellow, lilac and pink.

Summerspiration: Mimi Elashiry & Holographic Clothes

I am constantly looking on instagram for fashion inspiration, and there so many stylish girls out there. One of my favorites is Mimi Elashiry, she's an Australian girl with such a refreshing and inspiring style. Her outfits are inspired by nature and have such hippie vibes to them. There are so many tropical and exotic prints in her look, with a lot of jewellery. She also wears a lot of crop tops and skirts, which I LOVE.

I also put together this collage of things from the high street that are similar to what Mimi wears so you can get her look! I love the head chains from Miss Selfridge!

I know holographic clothes have been around for a long time now, but I'm still obsessed with them! There's something about the really shiny, silvery, colourful material that gets me so excited. I hope this is a trend to stay and I really hope to see more of it on the high street, the closest I am going to get to holographic clothes at the moment is looking at pictures on tumblr!

I also made this cute collage that mixes all of my favorite items of clothing that I want for summer. I think this outfit goes together really well, the grey crop top is quite plain and simple, the bright pink blazer gives it some colour and the choker, socks and heels add interesting details to make it look more unique. I'm not a white teeth teen, I tried to join but never did

I absolutely adore this outfit, It's classy and smart but still really cute. I love to wear white ankle socks with these short Mary Jane heels. I also like to wear this outfit with my pink blazer to add in some extra colour and look more smart. I'm also wearing a braid in my hair and a choker to make the look even more pretty and summery.
I really want to wear this outfit to a restaurant, party or concert this summer. 

 

I thought I would try wearing a denim jacket over my pink playsuit, to make it more casual as the playsuit is very smart and structured. This also makes it more versatile as it can wear it for a variety of occasions, not just in the evening. The shoes and sock combo also make it look a bit more quirky.

One of my favorite things for the summer is lipstick. The great thing about lipstick is that you can wear it as often as you like as it's not bad for your skin, and they come in such an amazing variety of colours. One of my favorites is Topshop Rio Rio, it is an amazing red colour. I also love Baby Lips, I genuinely think they live up to the hype and since using them, I have noticed a significant improvement in my lips. Since I've had so much spare time this summer I've been making a lot of bows, they are so cute and easy to make and they really suit the outfits that I wear.

One of my all time favorite album's is The 1975's self titled album. It is such beautiful music. My favorite tracks are Heart Out, Settle Down, Pressure and Talk. I highly recommend you check it out, there's a mix of happy, sad and chilled songs. Other albums I love are CHVRCHES' The Bones Of What You Believe, Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence and Iggy Azalea's The New Classic. I have quite an eclectic music taste.

I have also been sketching a lot, I love to take pictures of flowers and then draw them. I am also thinking of making my own flower crowns. Hope you are having a good summer,

Outfits & Songs For A Summer Adventure!

It's been the summer holidays for me for a week now and I have a lot of time to relax but I just really want to get outside and have amazing adventures! The weather is gorgeous and I want to make lots of new friends and memories. An outfit that would be perfect for those times is this one, I love the colours on it and it just fits together perfectly!

I think the red velvet top and the purple shorts go together so well. The accessories I am wearing with it is a necklace and choker. I really like layering my choker with a necklace at the moment. I am topping the outfit off with a flower crown and jelly shoes (of course.) I would wear this outfits for a day of shopping and exploring the city with friends. The songs that would fit the day I wear the outfit would be:

The second outfit is definitely my favorite at the moment. I think the yellow skort stands out so much against the purple top. The kimono has gorgeous pattern on it and is so colourful, which I love. I am also wearing my other flower crown, which is so pretty. I would wear this outfit to a party, a meal in the evening, a concert or watching the sun set. DIY: Make An Old Crop Top Look Cute!

Hello! I love customizing my clothes, and recently I transformed one of my old crop tops that I was getting tired of and needed brightening up. So I thought I would share how I made it with you, maybe it will give you ideas to do something similar!

The materials I used:
♥ A crop top of your choice (obviously an old one!)
♥ Faux flower petals
♥ Fringing material
♥ Lace material
♥ Fabric glue or needle and thread
♥ Scissors

The first thing I did was cut out the back and cut the lace material in to strips, and sewed it on the back (I got the idea from this video, so watch it if you're not sure what I mean.) You could also use fabric glue if you find that easier.

Then the back will look similar to this. I also decided so stitch on some buttons on to each side where the lace material is.

On the front of the crop top, I stitched some faux at the top, arranged in a line so they sort of follow the pattern of the crop top.

 

Finally, I stitched the fringing material to the bottom of the top, which I think looks amazing. Am I so pleased with the results, I now have a brand new top I can wear this summer, and it only took a few hours to make!

This is how I would wear the top on a summer's evening: the kimono is from AX Paris, the shorts are from Primark, the heels are from New Look and the choker (my favorite accessory this summer!) Summer Style: My My Thoughts and Ideas

Hi and welcome to my blog! I have been wanting to make one for such a long time and I am so glad I have decided to just start one! This collage above is all of my favourite clothing items for summer 2014. Since the biggest trend the biggest trend this summer is 90's, I have decided to embrace it a lot. The top items on my wish list are the two crop tops from American Apparel, I am wearing so many crops tops at the moment as there are so many cute ones and they are very practical for the warm weather. I also love jelly shoes, as they come in so many colours and brighten up an outfit! I like to wear them with skorts, which are another big 90's trend. I'm thinking about getting the light blue one from New Look above, the colour is amazing and would look beautiful with a simple, plain white top. I recently picked up a choker from miss selfridge (if you're looking for one there is loads there!) and it is one the best things I have ever bought. They look so cute and I am so glad they are in trend for summer 2014! I definitely think I will buying some more. To finish of the outfit I will usually add my smart pink blazer, which also adds another splash of colour. I also bought an amazing kimono from AX Paris that had gorgeous flowers on it, I can't wait to wear it at parties this summer!

I did this drawing of some of my favourite items of clothing and trends for summer 2014. As I said before, I am obsessed with skorts and the colour blue, so I love this. The crop top has all the colours of the sunset on them: red, yellow and orange. It has a faded effect on it which I think is really cool. I will be wearing outfits like this on my adventures in the next couple of months! As for makeup, I mainly wear pink shades in the summer, and I usually go for darker lipstick which looks really unique and stands out. I'm going to start wearing heels a lot more, even though I walk in them so badly! Chokers also go so well with evening outfits as well as daytime outfits, I really think they go with anything and just give an outfit a quirky, unique edge. The colours I will be wearing on my clothes this summer take inspiration from summer itself: ocean blues, forest greens and sunset colours, complete with floral prints!
